It seems to be a matter of time before Inter Miami’s record books are filled with countless chapters bearing Lionel Messi’s name. With his strike for the Herons against Nashville in the Concacaf Champions Cup, the Argentine star increasingly reduces the distance with Gonzalo el ‘Pipita’ Higuaín as top all-time scorer for the club.
In the four official games that Inter Miami has played this season, Messi has scored four goals and has now bagged 15 goals in his 18 games in a pink jersey across all competitions as he eyes Higuain’s 29 strikes for the Florida based club.

Before Messi started the 2024 season, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner was ranked sixth in Inter Miami’s all-time scoring rankings with 11 goals, below Venezuelan Josef Martínez on 12 strikes.
Now, just four games into the new campaign and Messi has climbed to third place among the top scorers in the franchise that has been in action since 2020. His goals against LA Galaxy, Orlando City and Nashville in the Concacaf Champions Cup have propelled the striker to 15 goals for Miami.
