International Game Technology (IGT) has announced a three-year extension of its contracts with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation.

The renewed agreements will see IGT Global Solutions Corporation, a subsidiary of IGT, continuing to provide online gaming systems and instant ticket services until 1 December 2029.

The extension will also introduce a mobile convenience app, 28 new self-service terminals and the Sales Wizard retail automation tool.

Regarding the partnership extension, Jeff Hewitt, President of the Mississippi Lottery Corporation, commented: “When launching the Mississippi Lottery in 2019, we relied on IGT’s expertise to guide us in driving player engagement across draw-based and instant ticket games, and in realising our growth targets.

“After almost five very successful years, we continue working with IGT to enhance our operations and deliver quality entertainment to our players.

“The Mississippi Lottery is excited to introduce IGT’s new products for added player convenience and install the Sales Wizard tool so that we can leverage actionable insights to identify incremental lottery retail opportunities.”

Jay Gendron, IGT’s COO of Global Lottery, added: “Since the Mississippi Lottery’s inception, IGT has applied our deeply rooted proficiency of industry best practices to help the Lottery continuously exceed its sales objectives, year after year.

“The new solutions that IGT is delivering in Mississippi will provide ultimate convenience for both the Lottery and its players, while also supporting the needs of the evolving lottery landscape.”

In related news, the start of the month saw IGT partnering with Atlantic Lottery for the Canadian markets. The five-year deal sees IGT supplying Atlantic Lottery with a range of content including player engagement tools and instant games.
