Sportsbook platform and technology provider Honoré Gaming has opened a new office space in the capital of Senegal, Dakar.
A ceremony was held to commemorate the event and Lat Diop, CEO of National Lottery operator Lonase, delivered a speech. Employees from Honoré Gaming and senior members of Lonase’s management team attended.
Youssou N’Dour, a Senegalese artist, also performed at the event.
Honoré Gaming has opened its Dakar office at a time when the company is continuing to focus on French-speaking African markets, expanding into the English-speaking African markets; and looking at opportunities to use its retail and online technology in developing nations like Latin America.
Christophe Casanova, Honoré Gaming COO, said: “We are delighted to open an office in Senegal as we continue to establish ourselves as the technology and platform provider in Africa. Senegal is a key market for us and our partners, so it’s great to have a presence in the country from where we can better support land-based and online operators.
“Africa has been a market of interest for several years now but there is real momentum across the region with more and more brands wanting to get in on the action. Our platform and suite of solutions have been designed specifically for Africa, allowing operators to deploy sportsbook and casino experiences that not only meet but exceed player expectations.”
