The Global Gaming Awards are returning to Las Vegas for their 11th edition this October and we are happy to share that the Shortlist has now been finalised. All shortlisted companies will be contacted in the next couple of weeks so watch out for an email from the Global Gaming Awards events team.
“After celebrating a milestone 10th edition of the Global Gaming Awards in Las Vegas last year, we’re already buzzing for this year’s event,” said Mariya Savova, Event Manager of the Global Gaming Awards.
“There is so much development in the Americas gaming industry, particularly in the US, so the competition this year is fierce.
“We received hundreds of nominations and I can honestly say they were all worthy of a place in the Shortlist.
“Unfortunately, we can only shortlist 10 companies per category so if you are one of those, huge congratulations as this is already an amazing achievement,” she added.
The Global Gaming Awards have earned the reputation of the most prestigious Awards in the industry. These are the only industry Awards that publicly release the reasons why each company and individual have been nominated.
The Shortlist was decided after careful review of nominations submitted by companies. We also asked several industry experts and consultants for their recommendations.
Companies are always nominated on merit and as a result of their performance in the Americas region in past 12-18 months. Entities that have multiple brands can only have one of their brands shortlisted in a particular category.
In addition, the Global Gaming Awards have a very stringent voting process. Over 100 senior industry executives from the land-based and online sectors from across the Americas will choose the winners.
Only one executive per company is allowed to participate in the Judging Panel and KPMG in the Crown Dependencies independently adjudicates the voting process to ensure judges are excluded from voting in categories where they have a conflict.
The full Shortlist for the Global Gaming Awards Americas 2024 will be released in the public domain in September and the winners will be revealed at a luncheon ceremony on 7 October, 2024 at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The event will be live streamed for those that can’t be in attendance.
The Global Gaming Awards are powered by Gambling Insider and Gaming America. KPMG in the Crown Dependencies acts as the official voting adjudicator. BetConstruct is the Lead Partner of this year’s event and category sponsors include Aristocrat Gaming, SPRIBE, Interblock Gaming, Soft2Bet, Light & Wonder, Play’n GO, NOVOMATIC and Playtech.
The Global Gaming Awards Americas reward the best performers from the supplier and operator verticals in the Americas. There are two more Global Gaming Awards events each year, dedicated to the industry in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific respectively.
