Sportsbook supplier Betby has appointed Pierre Pulis as its Head of Marketing, effective 14 November 2023.

As the newly appointed Head of Marketing, Pulis will play a role in steering Betby’s strategic marketing initiatives. His responsibilities include elevating brand awareness, implementing marketing campaigns, and contributing to the provider’s growth strategy for 2024 and beyond.

Pulis has a history of managing large-scale marketing and communication projects in his previous position at BtoBet, NeoGames’ B2B sports betting division.

Pulis stated: “I am thrilled to be joining Betby in the role of Head of Marketing. Betby is continually enhancing its reputation in the industry and I am very excited to be leading such a talented marcomms team, which is poised to make significant contributions to Betby’s ongoing success.”

Leonid Pertsovskiy, Betby CEO, said: “With strong experience of the B2B sports betting landscape, Pierre has in-depth knowledge of the market and has established long-standing relations with industry friends, whilst also bringing with him a wealth of experience and creativity. We are delighted to have him lead on our marketing projects as we look for further growth in 2024.”

Looking back at recent developments, in June 2023, Betby signed a partnership with African operator Africa365.com, marking an integration of infiGaming content into Betby’s sportsbook. The collaboration aimed to improve Betby’s product line, offering over 700,000 events in both conventional sports and esports.

In October 2023, Betby organised a fundraising auction as part of its fifth-anniversary celebrations. The proceeds were dedicated to Common Ground, a community centre in Riga, to host a Christmas celebration for children affected by the war in Ukraine.
