Affiliate OddsJam acquires OddsBoom, adds Founder to executive team

OddsJam believes Knight’s appointment will enhance its identity as a data-driven sports media company, helping it deliver original content and new odds comparison tools. 

OddsJam Co-Founder Alex Monahan said: “Data represents the heart of the sports betting industry, which is why we set out to build the most data-driven media company in the space. 

“Joining forces with Mark and the OddsBoom team will accelerate our mission to provide premium betting data and news to sports bettors of all types.” 

Knight added: “I started OddsBoom to build products geared toward helping both novice and experienced bettors make sense of the burgeoning sports betting market in the US. 

“With my 20 years of experience in the field and the great team at OddsJam, we are going to create something special.” 

The hiring of Knight will add to OddsJam’s existing group, which already includes a 10-person editorial team.

The editorial crew is tasked with purveying daily written and digital content for betting education and strategy, as well as producing previews and picks-driven content across all major sports. 

The news follows OddsJam’s recent release of a mobile app, which enables users to conduct player prop research to track relevant statistics and trends.  

OddsJam’s data covers odds from over 75 sportsbooks, and its site attracts around 200,000 unique users per month.
