“We’re very confident,” Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay said following the 22-minute walk-through that he did with his team ahead of their momentous clash against the Cincinnati Bengals in Sunday’s Super Bowl LVI.
“We’re ready to go. Then we’ve just got to play great in that window that we’ve got. There’s a good look in their eyes. I think there’s a good urgency, but also I just have a good feel about this team. I feel excited to watch them go and do their thing.”
These were the final on-field preparations for the Rams conducted at their team headquarters in jerseys and shorts. The players then changed into Super Bowl LVI warm-up suits and lined up on risers for a team photo. The picture went off without a hitch and there were no last-minute changes on the team’s injury report. Same hotel, same meeting schedule, same meals. As the designated visiting team, this is as homely as it gets.

Bengals ready
Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor had a rough start to his tenure with the team but after finding a way to turn things around in a hurry said the lean years helped shape the character of his Super Bowl-bound club.
Hired by Cincinnati in 2019, Taylor went 6-25-1 during his first two seasons as an NFL head coach during which the Bengals finished last in the AFC North but, with the help of quarterback Joe Burrow, has built one of the best young offenses in the NFL.
The stage, as they say, is very much set.
