NeoGames, a provider of iGaming and iLottery solutions, has announced the appointment of Christopher Shaban as Managing Director of its iLottery business.
This move is part of NeoGames’ ongoing organisational restructure in preparation for its anticipated acquisition by Aristocrat, slated for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024.
With immediate effect, Shaban will assume responsibility for all iLottery operations within the NeoGames Group worldwide.
His role encompasses driving new business initiatives, fostering customer growth, expanding NeoGames’ iLottery solution globally and overseeing NeoGames Studio – the company’s in-house game development arm.
Bringing over 27 years of experience in the global lottery industry, Shaban joined NeoGames in 2021 as EVP of Global Business and Customer Development for the iLottery division.
His extensive expertise and proven track record therefore hope to make him well-suited to lead NeoGames’ iLottery endeavors going forward.
Regarding the new appointment, Moti Malul, CEO of NeoGames, stated: “Chris is hugely respected within the lottery industry and his track record speaks for itself. I am thrilled about his appointment and look forward to seeing him drive us forward in our iLottery business.”
Shaban himself also commented: “It has been a few wonderful years with NeoGames and I am excited to continue in this new role as Managing Director, iLottery.
“Working together with the extremely talented people in our company, we are poised to expand our efforts under Aristocrat to best support our global lottery customers on their interactive journey.”
As part of their ongoing organisational restructuring, NeoGames also appointed Arnold Ash as an Executive Recruitment Partner in March of this year.
