On 29 April, Sky Vegas filmed a gameshow at THG Studios in Manchester called ‘The Household Games’ to mark the launch of its new brand platform.
This event invited members of the public to participate in five rounds of games, each inspired by everyday activities but with a competitive twist. Contestants vied for a £10,000 ($12,700) prize, awarded to the fastest participants across the rounds.
The games featured in the competition included ‘Pathway Peril,’ where contestants navigated a garden scenario and avoided various obstacles, mimicking the everyday challenge of sidestepping cracks in the pavement.
In ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Unpack The Shop,’ teams raced to unpack a shopping bag, correctly placing items in a kitchen setup as quickly as possible.
Next, ‘Top Bins’ had contestants in an office scene aiming to throw paper into multiple bin-like objects, while ‘Beat The Beep’ saw participants having 60 seconds to open a microwave door before a countdown ended.
The final game, ‘Household Hustle,’ was a relay round that took contestants through a house scene with various mini-games in each room, such as pairing socks against a timer or finding the correct remote control among many to turn on the TV.
Sky Vegas plans to release content from The Household Games on its social media channels starting mid-June.
The event will also be featured on platforms like Ladbible and Oddsbible, expanding its reach and engagement.
In related news, Sky Vegas recently partnered with ITV for a new reality TV show called The Fortune Hotel’ – a series that involves contestants working in pairs at a luxury resort to try and win a briefcase filled with money.
