The Canadian province of Ontario will host the opening of Videoslots.com’s online casino.
The operator will join the market with sister brand Mr Vegas and games from Pragmatic Play, Play’n Go, Evolution, Light & Wonder, Pariplay, NoLimit City, Quickspin, Greentube, Relax Gaming and Games Global among other studios.
Additionally, it will provide a welcome bonus and customer-interaction tools like Battle of Slots, Clash of Spins and The Wheel of Jackpots.
Following licences in Malta, where Videoslots has its headquarters, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Spain and the UK, Ontario’s move will mark the company’s eighth foreign gaming licence.
Ulle Skottling, Deputy CEO at Videoslots, said: “Launching in Ontario is another milestone for the Videoslots team and we are excited at the prospect of entertaining players in the region.
“We have always enjoyed great success in Canada and it makes business sense to join the regulated market now that it is up and running and proving to work for both players and operators alike.”
Meanwhile, following the UK regulator’s recent findings of social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings, Videoslots agreed to pay a £2m ($2.5m) settlement to the Gambling Commission.
The operator, which owns the websites videoslots.com, videoslots.co.uk, and mrvegas.com, was the subject of an investigation by the Commission, which concluded that it had failed to act responsibly.
