Slotegrator has signed a deal with Betnwin.

The online casino and sportsbook will introduce the gaming content facilitated by Slotegrator’s APIgrator game integration solution onto its platform.

The APIgrator contains 17,000+ titles from over 100 providers, which will be available to customers on the Indian-facing site.

Slotegrator Sales Manager, Ataur Rosul Abeer, said: “We are looking forward to seeing how gaming content provided by Slotegrator will benefit Betnwin.

“We are confident that this project will succeed.”

Betnwin covers over 60 different sports each week at its sportsbook and 60,000 unique events in total.

This deal is particularly interesting, as India is still considered an early emerging market.

Gambling legislation is still unclear in most areas and can different from state to state, as each area has its own individual gambling laws.

In general, gambling has been banned since the Public Gambling Act of 1867, which banned the operation or management of public gambling establishments.

However, Goa, Daman and Sikkim all operate casinos within their jurisdictions.

As for online casinos, there are no federal laws that restrict the operation or frequenting of these platforms, but a few places have started to set restrictions against them amid fears of organised crime.

Indian Law has set two categories into place, those being games of skill and games of chance, as such some verticals such as lottery and horseracing are not as restricted.

Last year, with the rise of gambling in the country, the Indian Government responded by proposing a goods and service tax of 28% on online gaming, horseracing and casinos.

This caused several companies to pull out of India, including Super Group.

A little while later, towards the end of summer, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in India began a nationwide ban on gambling advertisements.
