A booming business: US gambling market grows

BoydGaming and FanDuel have announced a partnership that aims to launch Stardust-branded online casinos in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Recently, Caesars announced that its app, Caesars Sportsbook, is now officially available for download and sign-up by sports fans of legal age in Louisiana.

In September, Churchill Down announced its plans to open a new racing machine entertainment venue, Derby City Gaming Downtown, in Kentucky.

Bally’s Corporation and Sportsradar have signed a five-year sports betting partnership, in which Sportsradar will provide Bally’s Interactive with access to its complete pre-match betting services.

In Florida, the Hard Rock Sportsbook app, which is run by the Seminole Tribe, has gone live.

Randy Fine, State Rep and Brevard County Republican, commented on the recently launched Hard Rock Sportsbook: “We can spend it to improve education, we can spend it to improve roads or fix healthcare. We can spend it to cut taxes. This is $500m, largely for the activity that was going on in these Seminole reservations that we can use to improve Florida. I think to get $500m, most of which will be paid on activities that were already taking place, I think is a pretty good deal for the state.”
