The game will also award $100,000 in extra cash prizes that will be given out at random in increments of one $50,000 winner, one $25,000 winner, two $10,000 winners and one $5,000 winner.

Bally Bracket is a product of SportCaller, a division of Bally’s Interactive that is known for its free-to-play games. It contains a range of prediction games that allows fans to challenge their sports knowledge while competing for prizes.

“The NCAA tournament is always an enjoyable time of year as people gather to cheer on their favorite teams,” said Adi Dhandhania, Bally’s Interactive COO of North America. “Bally’s has been a brand synonymous with fun for decades, so we developed an engaging free-to-play game for fans to participate in and have an opportunity to win $100m.

“We are excited about our partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group and will be using their massive media footprint to promote the Bally Bracket game.”

Over the years and since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985, millions of people have attempted to predict the perfect bracket but no one has succeeded. The closest attempts have always failed by the Sweet 16 round.

Game registration opens today and people can start filling in their predictions after the field is set on Sunday 13 March. The contest closes when the first round of 64 games commences on 17 March.
