Butler National Corporation signs sports betting agreement with GNOG

dodge city

The agreement with GNOG, a subsidiary of DraftKings, could bring GNOG’s online interactive sportsbook to Kansas, subject to receipt of licences and regulatory approvals.

The new sports betting law in Kansas allows Butler National’s subsidiary to contract with three sports wagering platform providers, as well as offer sports wagering at a retail sportsbook at the Boot Hill Casino facility.

Upon the launch of sports wagering in the state, anyone legally permitted within the geographical boundaries of Kansas can place bets directly from their mobile devices or computers by accessing a participating sportsbook or visiting a lottery gaming facility.

Butler National noted that Kansas City fans will recognise the GNOG brand as a trusted and legacy provider of gaming entertainment.

“We’re pleased with the regulatory efforts to implement sports wagering in Kansas,” Butler National Corporation President and CEO Clark Stewart. “Golden Nugget Online Gaming is a recognised and established brand within the gaming industry. We’re thrilled our customers may soon experience all the excitement that online sports betting has to offer.

“We’re excited for Golden Nugget Online Gaming to be able to bring Kansans a seamless, safe and premium sports betting experience through its Golden Nugget Online Gaming-branded sportsbook, subject to receipt of requisite regulatory approvals.

“We are looking forward to driving new tourism and revenue for the state of Kansas into Dodge City.”
