UTR Sports has announced a long-term partnership with Sportradar in relation to the UTR Pro Tennis Tour (PTT).

From January 2025, Sportradar will receive exclusive rights to official PTT data and audiovisual (AV) streaming content for betting purposes.

Through this deal, the sports betting supplier will cover over 20,000 PTT matches each year, applying its AI and computer vision technologies in order to give new insights into each match.

The hope is that this will create more in-play betting opportunities and create a more detailed picture of each match.

Sportradar’s Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) will also be incorporated for all of the PTT matches, in an aim to safeguard against any betting-related match-fixing and corruption.

UTR Sports Chairman and CEO Mark Leschly said: “We are excited to partner with the great team at Sportradar.

“The success of the UTR Pro Tennis Tour has exceeded expectations, and the continued growth looks brighter than ever, with a significant expansion of the tour coming in 2025.

“We are happy to be able to elevate and expand visibility of the tour with Sportradar and continue to provide the broadened pathway these players need to meet their goal of playing professional tennis.”

Sportradar EVP Rights and Strategic Projects Moritz Gloeckler added: “We are thrilled to partner with UTR given that tennis boasts one of the largest and dedicated global fan bases and is among the most widely bet on sports worldwide.

“As we do with all our partnerships, we have selectively added UTR to our portfolio of rights that we believe will provide Sportradar with enhanced commercialisation upside and opportunities for further growth.”

In other related news, the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA of America) has partnered with the American Gaming Association (AGA) for its ‘Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly’ campaign.
